Pastor Zach was born and raised in Lincoln, NE, where he met his wife, Amber, whom he married in 2011 after graduating from Faith Baptist Bible College. They have since had 4 children: Kinley, Elsie, Coen, and Charles. They have lived in Clarion, IA, where Zach served Holmes Baptist Church as senior pastor and also Ankeny, IA where Zach completed an internship at Saylorville Church. Zach enjoys playing basketball, working out, eating good food, watching Husker football (don’t hold that against him), going on dates with his wife, wrestling with his kids, and tackling the projects Amber comes up with for him.

Brenda Anderson and her family first came to Calvary Baptist in October of 2000. She began working as the office manager/administrative assistant in August of 2011. In addition to church activities and growing in her Christian walk, Brenda enjoys singing, camping, tennis, card making, and spending time with her husband, Dan and their two grown children, Jared and Emily.

​Sara has grown up in CBC and started working as the receptionist in 2004.  She counts it as a great privilege to be able to help and serve the people of CBC as the receptionist.  She has been a youth leader since 2006 and one of her favorite things about that is being able to meet for coffee with different ladies to talk about the Lord.  Her favorite thing to do would be to chase the sun in her car, to snap the best sunset picture, with snow all around her while drinking a pumpkin spice latte.
